Let me know your input for my next high end gaming rig. All of this for under $900.

Intel C2D E8400 Wolfdale at 3.0GHz/ 1333 FSB
Gigabyte P35 MOBO
G.Skill DDR2 1066 2GB RAM
WD Caviar 400GB HDD at 7200 RPM
eVGA 8800GT at 512MB
Antec Sonata III with built-in 500w PSU
Vista HP 64bit

Grand Total: $789.00

I expect to get long-term upgradability and scalability out of this, as well as superb performance for a lot of the newer games like Age of Conan, Oblivion, and Crysis at all rather high graphics settings.

Let the critiques fly.

Looks fine except you're using a Build in PSU, thats not good... maybe try to switch to q6600 for best longevity, maybe jump to 4gb since more games require it and its really cheap now

Yea, I've always been a believer in built-in PSU's not being worth the screws that mount them in the case, but it's an Antec EarthWatts, which is a reputable stand-alone PSU by itself.

If worse comes to worse though I can always replace it later.

I'm pretty sure you can get an Antec Sonata III with just the case cheaply

That psu has 34A on the 12v rails which is enough for your build but it's just for the same price you could get a better PSU and probably a case you would like more. Even if it's a good stock psu i just have always heard stay away from ANY case psu regardless.

Also a single 8800GT won't do "superb" on Crysis.

My 8800GT does very very well on most new games but don't expect to run the newest games max as you stated you didn't The G92 8800GTS is a great choice and more powerful if you have the few extra bucks.

Why the E7200? A little less money for almost identical performance? I don't mess with overclocking because it just doesn't seem like a safe thing to do.
