its actually quite fast tbh. I did alot of research before i bought it and every owner said it was great (i know being USB that doesnt mean alot).

The hard disk says its sata2, and loads up faster then ive ever had in a computer haha. What are good hard drive benchmarks? If the speed is up to par, this looks like a better hdd then the one i ordered :P

hdtune will do a basic speed test quick and easy.
