Default A.t.h.l.o.n. 64 3?00

i have the following parts

evga 6800gs

asus a8n-e nforce ultra

2 gigs of valueselects ram

now what processor will not bottle neck any of those parts and be able to play games like
battle for mddle earth two
battle field two
far cry and all the new games pretty much at decent fps

i was thinking about a 3200 that would be nice since it is the cheapest.

3000 and over will not bottleneck, even semprons shouldnt bottleneck it, but i recommend 3000+ plus.

Id see about getting a 3700+ san diego. They are fantastic CPUs.

Athlon 64 3200+
Athlon 64 3700+

Athlon 64 x2 3800+
Athlon 64 x2 4400+

Opteron 144
Opteron 165

Those are the elite two top choices from each category, best price : performance ratios, great for OCing.

yeah 3700 if you've got the money for sure, and the 3800x2 if you're going dual core (imtaking it you're not ocing) and a 3200 will do well.
