Switching from 3870 to 4870. Will PC work with out a gpu?

yo we should have a our girl firend bougtht us cod4 club lol, my ex from last year bought me it for xmass and the girl i really care about that i just broke up with was gonna either get me left for dead or cod5.

Actually, your computer SHOULD work without the GPU.... SHOULD boot.... you just won't be able to use it... I am almost certain of this, but who can say for sure, since you can't see the output.... only way to know if listen for the MB error codes upon startup...
