ah, ok then, gotta find the right thing to unscrew it with though.

I know i asked aspire this, but just checking, the best method for applying thermal paste (in my case, tx-2) to a quad core is the X method right?

K, well i figured I should prep, so in addition to reading guides and stuff for water cooling, I tried out something that I thought might be a problem.

HACKING THE PSU :p

Turned out it wasn't a problem, and i was so happy it wasn't I took some picz !

Btw... aspire thats the fan that I cut out so I could use the frame to later mount my rad :)

Ok, cleaned out the stuff, and now on to the installation... bbl (24 hours :/)

Oh, also I am lapping my q6600... so if something goes wrong inbetween now and tommorrow, it was either my lapping or my flooded system ;)

All you need is a set of allen wrenches from home depot.

Bought a set last week to take apart my furniture when I moved, ran me something like 5 bucks...
