Stupid Motherboard

Well i got this motherboard

Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF-9

and i set up everything.. except the sound. it prompt me saying i have to install XP Service pack 1, so i downloaded it. tried installing it and since im using a burnt XP cd it said it wasnt valid etc. so it didnt install but then i shouldent have to get the High definition sound one. what if i just want the normal sound one thats compatible with all the XP's. is there anyway to get some sort of bypass to get SP1 or. to get a driver that allowes me to install the regular sound drivers, i dont care about the high quality bonus slots i got here on my motherboard. Thanks

I have the other version of that motherboard you have, with the onboard being the GeForce 6150B. The motherboard should of came with a cd to install the drivers for the onboard sound.

It came with only High quality audio drivers wich require Service Pack 1 to install isnt there just basic normal ones i can DL

Is your onboard sound realtek? If it is, this is where I got my drivers from:
