I started Over clocking my 8800GT today and i notice when i start increasing the shader clock my mouse starts to flicker. The best way to describe it is when you hit refresh on your desktop. That's how the mouse looks every 10-15 seconds. The weird part is it only happens when my mouse is sitting on the desktop. It doesn't flicker when i web surf or use applications.
I'm using atitool and rivatuner and i don't detect any artifacts and temps are all within reasonable levels.
UPDATE: After further troubleshooting i have determined that coretemp was causing the mouse flicker. Sorry for this useless post
