I am sorry but i have to bump this again!

I've been having second thoughts.... i read some reviews on the abit quad gt..

Newegg.com - ABIT IX38 Quad GT LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

and now i just don't know... lol

I really had my mind kinda set on the dfi x38 at first...

if you can't take the price of the DFI x38 you could get that Quad GT, its a nice board

It is indeed a nice board, and it will overclock just as well as the other motherboards you posted.

btw, the dfi x38 is cheaper then the quad gt by a few bucks.

I think you mean the LT... i was going to get that originally but they went out of stock on newegg and it was kind of expensive.

I really couldn't tell you.

I haven't seen any head to head reviews of the quad gt vs the DFI's you posted.

I think you will be satisfied with any of the x38 boards linked in this thread.

I would get the QuadGT over the DFI DK..but not the DFI LT

That's the mobo I have and it's definitely a very good one. I know of many people hitting over 500-550fsb on them. And yeah, the cooling is pretty good as long as you have good airflow in your case.
