I have the 840 evo, since the 850 is cheaper I feel like the 850 evo is the best way to go.
I heard, the pro is more beneficial if you're running it in raid, I could have read this wrong.
The 500gb 850 pro is going for around $180 which is a really good deaL!

You can still get the EVO for $187. but the Pro's are going to be closer to $300.

The 850's are now using 3D chip technology and that means they are cheaper to manufacture, thus a lower price than the 840's
