I hear alot about these three sets of speakers;

Logitech Z-2300 200 watts RMS 2.1 Speaker System - Retail

Logitech X-530 70 watts RMS 5.1 Black Speaker System - OEM

The z-5500 looks awesome.

I see you're located in Canada. So checkout tigerdirect.ca, ncix.com, or directcanada.com for those.

God everyone suggests logitech my buddy has some and they are crap imo. I would go with Klipsch i have them and a few of my buddys do and the 2.1 pro audios sound amazing. The 2.1 pro audios are like $150 and they can put out some bass my 2.1's put my buddies so called awesome logitechs to shame when i turn up the rap:p I think there the x 530 not sure though.

I got my stereo linked up to my comp through AUX and music and games are awesome, cost around 500 but way too big for a desk!

Ya, That's what I have :cool:

You can't beat the cost and performance of a home audio system for music, movies, and games.

For $300 you could have a Sony 900Watt 5.1-Channel Home Theater System, it has a 200 watt powered sub:D

For $200 you could have a Sony 800W 5.1-Channel Home Theater System, it has a 135 watt powered sub, BUT this one doesn't have a DTS decoder (super surround sound for movies)

You can connect them to your computer using optical, coaxial, or RCA wires. If your sound card only has a headphone output, you can get a 3.5 to rca adapter

I've heard good things about Klipsche Speakers, but I am very satisified with my X-530 Logitech speakers.

I really think logitech outdid themselves with the Z-5500's, I've had them for a year now and they never cease to amaze me. If you have a nice card with S/PDIF optical you can really make them shake the house lol.
