im willing to spend about 30-50 dollars on each cuz im also saving up for a nice gaming mouse

lol the creative xifi is way more than 30-50 (190 i think at cheapest) and the logitech z's r around 400. those r really sweet products but if ur budget is that low then try cyber-acoustics 2.1's which r about 30. i got them for my lower-end comp and they do the job just fine. and for the SC go for the creative 24-bit but if u have a good mobo then u might want to just think about using the onboard audio instead.

the creative p580 5.1 speakers are pretty good. i got them and they sound good. i also have the soundblaster live 7.1. they were selling that for 5 bucks AR somewhere a few days ago.

Actually the XtremeMusic can be had for as low as $100 now if you know where to look, and the z-5500s can be had for as low as $270 if you know where to look...
