which would be best for me or is there another one i should look at

also i was looking at azuntech (sp?) and they look like they have some pretty good cards anyone have any experience with them

thanks in advanced.

i use integrated sound with my Klipsch speakers, and I couldn't be happier. IMO sound cards are a waste of money unless you get something like tower speakers or really good 5.1 - 7.1.

Another note: that Sub is really not very powerful, i would suggest something with a little more power personally. That's just me though. But the speakers you have chosen are not bad for the price. The general rule with speakers is, and always will be that you get what you pay for.

Yea i have to agree with the above poster..some Mobo's come with some really good onboard audio, some dont. The gigabyte mobo that i have uses onboard 'realteck' audio and all i can say is that they sound pretty much the same as when i have my Audigy 4 in. So i took the soundcard out since its jsut a waste of power....

As for speakers i alwaso agree with the above poster, you will ALWAYS get what you pay for..the higher you go the better it gets, pretty much all the manufacturers are good, Creative, Klipsh, logitech altec lansing/.....all good, it just comes down to hthe buyer on what model to buy...From my experience i have to say that its better to buy a powerful 2.1 set rather than a weak 5.1 set...but thats totally up to you..

as for soundcards if you mobo does come with cr-a-p audio then i would suggets getting the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer

i have the audigy 4 and it isnt much different than then audigy 2zs.. the X-FI is newer and is supposed to soubd much better

i had myself an x-fi not too long ago, and this msi onboard audio with supposed 8.1 channel support and dolby and all that sounds like crap compaired to my x-fi

and x-fi will literally double whatever bass your computer will put out to your computers now.. because my speakers are nowhere near as loud as they used to be... but still loud.. lol

i own me a pair of logitech z-5500's... and i'm no longer satisfied now that i've lost my x-fi

Well, I have the x-530's, pretty good budget system. I have an xfi extreme music, huge difference, I would g for the etremem music, even if you are budget tight
