Sound Blaster Live! LS

Ok I have this old steering wheel that requires a joyport but my onboard sound (realtek ac97) does not have one. I came across a old Sound Blaster Live! LS from a couple years ago that supports 5.1 surround sound and seems to be decent and about the same. I couldnt find any specs on it to compare to my onboard sound but will this card give me less performance then my onboard or about the same or even more? Is it worth just buying a x-fi extreme music when the time comes around or just a better steering wheel with usb compatablity? I hate this because it is so confusing! The model is a SB0060 is that helps.

You will get about the same sound quility out of the live, but it will actually be louder without amplifcation. Give it a try what do you have to loose? If you don't like it take it out.

Ok I was just wondering because I dont get home till about 8:30 tonight, I mean its pretty nice but its somewhat old, 2000 which doesnt seem that bad.
