Heya All, I'm looking for some suggestions on updates. The last few pics I have picked up are running a little slow. I'm running an AMD X2 3800, 1GB Corsair DDR Ram, eVga 7900GT CO, WD Sata 2 HDD, and a SB Audigy 2 ZS.

My motherboard does not support sli so I would need a new one.

Would getting a new motherboard and a second 7900GT in SLI make games run well? Or do I need more Ram which is cheaper and easier to do?

Any suggestions you could make with the above specs would really help out. I'm honestly starting to think about putting some cash away and going with the Intel Core Duo's, an extra 1gb ram, and another 7900gt. Just wondering if prices will be dropping more soon.

Go for 2 gig of RAM in dual channel.

The only other thing you might do is to up your CPU, but 3800 X2 ain't bad.

I agree with Trotter... the ram will really help more than getting another card... most games will play very will with the card you have. I would put the money into another GB of ram and save the rest for a new build..
