So my PSU is going to die :(

Well i was looking around newegg, and wondered if my antec smartpower would pull an x1950xtx. When i check it out on new egg, i found out that a lot of people's PSU's are dying after about 6 months... Luckily i found this out, and soon ill be replacing this thing. What would you guys suggest for a new PSU? I want to look into something that would pull a high end graphics card, like an x1950xtx or 7950gx2. If you pick one that has LED's make em blue, to match my case.

I was figuring out what kind of power you'll need with this power supply calculator. Then I realized that you should be figuring it out

Figure it out, then look at Newegg for reputable brands like OCZ, Antec(although you don't seem too fond of them), or PC Power & Cooling. There's more reliable brands, but those are a good start.

OCZ GameXStreme 600 watt, or 700 watt if you want high-end SLI.

I think it's mostly my fault for getting the budget antec PSU. Ill look at those choices. Where does it way how much amperage per 12v rail on new egg? what words should i look for?

yeah OCZ are excellent, ive just ordered a Modstream 520w psu with blue leds
