DisplayPort

Thats not a bad idea. No pricing on the page though.

Found it, looks to be about 250 bucks. Definately a cheaper option than going for 3 dell 2410s.

Those wont work. It has to be an active powered adapter. And so far the only one anyone has found that works is the 99 dollar one from dell.

It's still sitting in the dude's field. Can't pick it up until i get rid of the old couch/chair and get my fence up. The bug is going to be a LOOONG project. The only thing i'm really going to keep original is the body. Engine/trans/brakes/wiring is all going to be redone. And as far as multiple cards, at this point eyefinity doesn't work with crossfire so there is no reason to get more than one.

well, right now eyefinity works with the internal xfire of a 5970.

not sure when drivers will come out to support eyefinity + xfire w/ other cards though.

Just curious, what do you use all this for? The tri monitor, eyefinity, etc?

I wanted a 5970, but you just can't find them.

I'm honestly surprised you even found a 5870. They have been super scarce since release.
