Disables the "Unsupported Hardware" message in Windows Update, and allows you to continue installing updates on Windows 7 and 8.1 systems with Intel Kaby Lake, AMD Ryzen, or other unsupported processors.
Don't even think he needs that since he's upgrading to 10 for the key then using the key for 10. At least I'm assuming that was the intent. I tried installing 7 on a Skylake system, it worked but was a bitch since it had 0 USB2 ports. Least 8.1 natively supports USB3. Other than that I had no other real issues.
yup... you have to do the F6 thing to install the usb 3.0/3.1 drivers during the Windows 7 set up install. Some boards give you an option in the bios to run virtual ps2 port through the usb (somehow?) All I know was I could use the mouse/keyboard during the install. I'll have to look up which board that was. They recommended that this option be disabled after the usb drivers got installed
If you are installing Windows 7 with an optical disc drive and USB keyboard or mouse, please enable the "PS/2 Simulator" option in UEFI SETUP UTILITY > Advanced > USB Configuration.
Got everything but the case in so I assembled it and put it on an open bench with my 2500K stock cooler. Looks like I'm stable at 5.1GHz and memory at 3200MHz. Gonna run more stress tests once I get it in the case and hooked up with my h100i v2.
