which is better? and why?

having two 256MB 7900GTs in SLI or one 512MB 7900GTX?

7900GT'S in SLI would be better in terms of performance but if it were me I would get 7900GTX as the 7900'S have been extremely fualty lately.

well what size screen do you have. see from what I have learned if you are going to run monster screen resolutions then running SLI cards will do a lil' better, but one 512 GTX will do just as good if not better in res. of like 1024x768, or 1280x1024.
