SLI vs. Crossfire

Myowngod, how the heck did you crank the i7 920 to 4.4GH'z thats almost twice the out of box speed?

The i7 920 has a lot of clocking room, especially with Water or other types of cooling

what cards are you looking at? what resolution so you play at? how much money do you want to spend?

Im not to sure yet on what video cards im gonna use, i haven't really messed around with a lot of different ones so i don't know much about the differences between them besides the obvious. This is gonna be my first build and im looking at making an high performance average PC. i dont wanna spend a lot but im willing to buy the good stuff if its at the right price. Im looking at making an $800 - $900 PC. nothing special but nothing normal. if that makes sense? lol.

900 will severely limit you.... not even sure you can do an i7 build for that much... might want to reconsider an AMD build with that price range...

dont worry. haha! i can get the i7, an intel mobo and vista ultimate for a super good deal so i know im going with that already, im just looking at the other stuff.
