2 x 2900xt outperform the 320mb GTS x 2
only thing is they're a tad more spendy

Isn't most 2900xt 512 MB? So it should perform better than 8800gts 320 MB, yes?

What about 8800gts 640MB x2 vs 2900xt 512MB x2?

How much does the MB matter anyway? I assume it has to do with texture mostly?

Also if I remember right, SLI need to be a bit more careful when choosing motherboard; what about crossfire? Anything I need to be cautious about?

there is a very very small difference between the 320mb and 640mb
the 2900xt x 2
outperforms both in SLI

For the most part, CrossFire is very good and efficient, but it has some major issues in some games (stalker for example) where it is actually slower than one card. Iím sure that SLi sometimes has problems like these as well though.

LOL oh
THANK YOU
and VRAM doesn't have much to do with the resolution, its the power of the card mostly
