good to know. So is the EVGA 750i really that much better than the other brands available ?? (MSI, ASUS)

thats what im tellin you, man. IMO, it's not. but i dislike evga, so i am biased a little. i used to love them until they gave me the shaft on my 590 mobo support.

Thats what happens when us TF members over-recommend something, sadly this is the cheapest 8800gts g92 on Newegg:

or you could go 9800gtx

well I'm still gona wait till the new stuff comes out...

if its really as good as people say(and Its under $300) I'm definatly gone pull the trigger on one of those.

And if its not under $300, I'm hoping I can pick up a good 8800GTS, X or even a 9800 something or other on the cheap

hehe you wish, nVidia always overprices their new stuff, I don't expect it to go under $300, because at their planned prices they would barely cut it even (or hardly make profits)
