lol a GTS for GTX280 :laughing: but how does a board like this sound? Newegg.com - BIOSTAR TForce TP43D2A7 LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
i'm only gonna buy a board with one pci-x slot. that way if i think about a ati card i know i cant crossfire w/ it

It doesn't make allot of sense to deliberately avoid being able to run crossfire. You can get the TP45HP for $10 more which is worth it in my opinion.

There is no point in cutting yourself short like that. Your the one who gets screwed in the end. Fanboyism is totally illogical. You might aswell leave that behind now. This is about getting you the best bang for buck. The sli boards for intel chips aren't that great right now, so sli is out of the question. Crossfire scales much better and ati cards are better right now so when it only cost $10 more there is no point in refusing it.

meh i'm still thinking about it. i wouldn't call my self a fanboy i have never had a problem with a nvidia card.
