Question SLI and Memory Differences

I just bought a couple of cards:
EVGA 8800 gt 512MB Superclocked
Asus 8800GT 1Gig

Will these cards run in SLi or do the memory sizes have to match? They are both G92 chips but my past experience has suggested taht the cards have to be exactly the same GPU and memeory size. Thanks!

Asus cost me $219.00 new
EVGa cost me $179.00 new
I'm guessing the 9800 release is already kicking some 8800 kapusta!!

But why did you buy those 2 diffrent ones? The 8800 gt 1gb scales horrible for some reason... the 512 actually beats it.... and even if it scaled good why would you get the 2 diffrent cards?

Great. I bought them becasue they were dirt cheap. (in my book) I'll run them in Sli and then oc the willy out of them in Ntune. I have been buying up some of these "older" 8800 cards for system upgrades for customers on a budget. I just want to install these in my spec PC to see what happens to the 3DMark06 score. 8800 gts 320 are soon to this the $125 mark. I bought 2 last week for less than $130 each!
