I'm buying a new PC with GTX 260 video card, but if i'd upgrade sometimes to some card of new GTX 300 series.
So then i'd like to SLI my 260 with new 300 card, using one for graphics (the 300) and one for PhysX processing.

The Nvidia site claims that u can do that with different card types (like 9800 & 260 or 8800 & 260). but i noticed they all DX10.

Will the trick work with combo of 200 (DX10) & 300 (DX11) series?????

Thanx

You can't SLI two Nvidia cards that are different models. But you can run 1 as the primary display and the other as a dedicated PhysX card :D

What slaymate said, and I don't believe that Direct X has a real bearing on PhysX. The only requirement of PhysX is that you have an 8800 series card or above since those were made with built in CUDA support which PhysX uses.
