hey folks...

almost got my system done, just nailing down some
of the last few things...
I noticed that NewEgg and TigerDirect has sleeving kits,
the DIY kind that ya heatshrink and all that. The reviews
on NewEgg suggest it's difficult to do and to make it look
good. I wouldn't mind cleaning up the looks on the inside
of the case.
So is it worth the extra effort? does it really help cool the case that much?
How does one go about it? And which sleeve kit would you
or did you use?

thanx,

Mac

Worth the effort? - Yes
Cooling better? - Maybe, it's really about better air flow through the case.
How to? - I went and got a molex connector remover, removed the connectors one at a time, put the sleving and the heat shrink stuff on, re-mounted the molex connector and heated the heat shrink stuff with a hair dryer. some of the other connectors could not be removed so i used colored electrical tape on those spots.
(I melted the hair dryer in the process though. :D)

Which kit? - Most are about the same, depends on your color preference and if you want the UV reactive stuff or not.
