Default Should i buy this? I need your opinion.

Hey guys my name is Tim and i was recently looking for a laptop to buy for school. I'm not much of a computer expert and I need some helpful advice.

Lately I've been searching across classified websites for a laptop and I found a HP Pavilion DV7 17.3" Laptop i5 8GB 750GB HD for 600$ I went and saw it in person and I really liked it. I told the seller i would need a day or two to think about because honestly 600$ is a lot of money for me. so I am here asking for your advice on weather or not 600$ is a good deal.

The laptop comes with these specs and a lot more.
HP Pavilion DV7-6B55DX 17.3" Laptop i5 2.4GHz 8GB 750GB HD Webcam DVDRW WiFi

Processor: Intel Core i5-2430M Processor 2.40 GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 3.00 GHz
Display: 17.3-inch diagonal HD+ BrightView LED-backlit Display (1600 x 900)
Wireless Connectivity: 802.11b/g/n WLAN and WiMAX combo card
"Sound Beats Audio" with the HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer! (wow)
Illuminated LED touchpad border
HP TrueVision HD Webcam with integrated digital microphone
HP SimplePass with integrated "(Fingerprint Reader)"!

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

9 Cell Battery

If you cannot judge it based on that information the link to the zidozone ad is: Zidozone - Free Classified Ads

I saw the laptop in person and it truly looked new, basically no scratched visable so I really need some advice quickly on if i should buy it or not.

Thanks guys.

Welcome Tim.

It's priced $20 more than microcenters refurbed model, but with better software.

So it'sd not that bad of a deal.

My opinion is if y0u feel you can trust the guy, go for it

Yea it's decent for the price. Wouldn't be bad for school.
