Exclamation Should I Buy This GPU!?!?

EVGA GeForce 8600 GT 256MB GDDR3 SLI Ready PCI Express DL Dual DVI HDTV Video Card 256-P2-N751-TR at TigerDirect.com

Upgrade for the system below, in my sig.

eVGA 8600GT 256mb GDDR3


Price seems good and reviews I like...

Mainly playing BioShock, and Fear, and BF2... etc.. Teh basics.

If you're playing those games you listed, you aren't going to last with the 8600GT. Get the EVGA 8800GTS 320MB.

im very cost effective i have 140$ and im not getting anymore... i need a card today... and this looks like the best bet?

Well, maybe a 7900GS would be fine to play BioShock, Fear, BF2, and such others. 7900GS can support early DX10 games.

how is that better than a 8600,,,, ,,,, i mean newer = not always better?

Id say you fork up a little extra for this

Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N761-AR GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

seems to be the choice when it comes to the 8800GTS being too much.

8600GT gets killed by 7900GS. 8600GTS is a bit better than 7900GS.
