Thanks for all the replies guys. I really appreciate it.

I came up with a build using ur guy's help and stuff you recommended. Here's what I came up with. I would appreciate any input or any substitutions that u will suggest instead of the ones I came up with.

CPU - I was debating whether I should go with the E6400 or E6600 or even AMD's 5000+. Any suggestions? For now, Im going for the E6600.

Graphics Card - This, im not quite sure if I should decide on this one yet since I know they will have those new DX10 cards coming out but Im not sure when. So for now, I chose the EVGA GeForce 7950GT.

Cost: $269.99

Power Supply - Didnt really care for this much, I was only looking for one that has 2 PCIe x 16 Power thingy. Haha, this shows how a noob I am in building computers.

Case - NZXT Apollo. I only like this because it is cheap and it has the viewable side or something.

Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 500GB Hard Drive. I am open for 320GB Hard Drives though. I don't even know why I want 500GB.

Cost: $94.99

Extra Stuff
Extra Fan - It fits right on the PCI Slot on your case, so i thought this would be great. I dont know, what do you guys think?

Cost: $11.99

Total Cost: $1,696.89 without tax and shipping and handling.

I know its over my budget and anything that would lower this cost is greatly appreciated. Any opinions? Thanks guys.

Here's my questions....

1. Should I get Intel E6400, E6600 or AMD 5000+ Processor? I would mainly use this PC for gaming.

2. Is the Windows Vista Home Basic Edition I have above is a full version or is that an upgrade version? It seems like its too cheap for a really new Operating System.

3. 500GB or 320 GB Hard Drive?

4. 19" vs 22" screen. Do I really need 22" screen? Like I said, I will only use this PC for gaming and to me, it seems like a 22" screen is good especially that the price difference between 22" and 19" is less than $100.00

Thats all for now. :D

On the screen, I'de most definetly go with the 19". Mine is exceptional, besides it's just more money you should be putting into that pc if you got something larger. Don't get a 17" :). If you game, which I'de bet you do, that moniter suggested has a 5ms response time!!

I am running a 22" and a 19" in a dual monitor setup, the 22 replaced another 19" I had....I love my 22, I would get a 22 over a 19 in a heart beat. Also, since you're only going to be gaming, an E6300 or 6400(not worth the price difference in my mind) would be a good choice, they are still very powerful chips. If you're going to get a 22" monitor, might as well get a 8800GTS, :p

get a 19" monitor as it will be sharper then teh same res monitor at 22" you dont want windows vista basic as it is really bad just get windows xp home and upgrade when its worth it and ultra goes down in price and if you get xp home its the only xp that you dotn need to reformat to upgrade and get a 6400 cpu and you dont need that ram as your not over clocking so just get 2 gigs of value ram as you only need performance ram for over clocking

Ok, I changed the processor to the E6400 which saves me $100.00
I also changed the RAM to two of these ones....
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820134045
at $70.00 each so thats $140.00 for two of them.

Is that RAM still good? That's the cheapest I can find hehe and I dont know if its good.

Anyway, someone mentioned that the Ultra something is gonna go down. What Ultra are you talking about?

Also, Im keeping everything else including the 22" monitor. If anyone highly suggest that I should go with a smaller sized monitor just say so :D

One last thing, someone said that I should get a Windows XP Home and get a coupon upgrade for vista instead of just getting the vista itself. That sounds great but my question is, should i get Windows XP Home or Windows XP Media Center?

I'm not sure if getting Windows XP Media Center is better than XP Home. And what are you talking about reformatting? I didnt quite get what you said on that one.

Last and final question. When I put all these things together (assemble them or something) do I need to adjust anything on the Hardware at all or even on those BIOS Stuff? I really don't know anything about those hehe. Im a super noob with computer programming, tweaking computers, or what you call those stuff.

When I put the computer together, all I need to do is put them the right way and then boot the computer and put the OS on the CD Drive and it will automatically do the work for me right? I heard that I need a floppy disk for that one and Im not planning to get a floppy drive with this PC, or should i get one?

Thanks for the reply guys. This forum really helped me a lot. Hehe, it saved me $200.00 on my build so far. :D

Also guys....... Im debating whether which case to get. Heres the link of the two cases that I like but I dont know which one to get, I cant get both of them :(

Sunbeam Transformer Case - http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811166004

NZXT Apollo Case -
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811146025

Which one is good? I like the fact that the Sunbeam has 3 fans included and the NZXT has the blue LED Fan included but only two fans are included with it. Also I heard that the NZXT does not have a speaker or something that goes inside ur pc, i dont even know what it does. :D
