stay away from maxtor hdds. i've only heard bad things from them. get a seagate or western digital drive.

you can save some money by getting a 5000 x2 or a 4400 x2 and oc it up to 6000 speeds.

also for that price get a 3870 512mb.

Thanx. Okay im swapping the Maxtor to a Seagate. I think im gonna leave the video card because im trying to stay under $1000 including a monitor. I got a LG 19" for $200... (Also gonna leave the CPU because i dont want to OC on a computer for work. (Not models and such so i dont need a quadro... lol.))

EDIT: I made the jump and upgraded one or two other things, including the video card. Take alook at the new system.
