Default Semi Gaming Laptop...

LOL, Well, I need a new laptop, but I don't know where to really begin. I need a laptop that can do everyday tasks for school. I need it to watch dvds and burn disks as well. Also, I won't game on it much, but I 'd like it to be able to play WOW really well. Where should I start?

Good point. I've had little sleep. LOL

Anyway, I'm from the US and my budget is $1500. Thanks.

wow doesnt require much performance
i got a compaq at frys for 600 bucks and ccs flys on its 14" screen
try to do some fairly good research on it though, and stay away from "good quality" cuz their name is contradicting.

Look at newegg and then find the one you like and then use price grabber (if you are really cheap and looking to save like 20 bucks max(I am))

Found a nice setup for $1,393 from Dell. http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...5S2&s=dhs&fb=1

If the link doesn't work. I chose the Inspiron E1705 in Home and Home Office. Upgraded the Video Card to the X1400, the Memory to 1gig at 667mhz, and Combo/DVD Drives to the DVD burner.

Shipping is usually $99 though, so you'd probably wanna try and find a sale or cut back on some items...... Or get more money.
