Im selling this rig for $700 to buy a new one. Am i not being fair because its right after tax season and people tend to have a little extra cash, yet i am not getting anywhere and im ready to sell it for the $580 i need to finish my current build i have going.

Specs:500gb HDD (originally 1tb in raid 0, but went to single for stability, 2nd 500 gb is available)

1000 Watt silverstone power supply (loads of extra cables)

Intel Q9450 Quad core currently at 2.6 (oc to 3.6)

4Gb DDR3 Ram ocz platinum @1333mhz

Evga 9800gx2 1Gb Video

Evga 790i Ultra mother board Tri-Sli or 3x SLI ready

Zalman 3rd Party Heatsink for Cpu

Antec 900 Case

Stinks cause i spent nearly $3000+ on the system when that GPU/board and ddr3 was just released.

There's a reason I only buy mid-range parts these days, the depreciation is so much smaller when the parts are cheap to begin with...

A quick valuation based on performance would lead me to believe $700 is a fair bit more than it's worth especially what with all the new parts that have been coming out...

You probably won't be able to sell it for that much because someone can build something better for the same price. One way you might be able to squeeze more money out of it is by selling each part seperately instead of as a system.
