Seems like a great deal!

I think the problem here isn't about opinions on the system design, but more that your post was unclear and it was taken as you were contributing to the current discussion. In that sense then the flame was justified because you can build a much better machine for far less. You failed to make the distinction that you were relating to the opening post. If you had we probably would have jsut ignored you post since it was irrelevant to the current conversation.

But this is all I have to say on the subject. The guy made the thread for advice and this argument is messing things up. Thanks for the support Peter.Cort. Its much appreciated.

Yeh Muscle you should just drop it (if your still here). The OP wanted advice on a build, not some petty argument over a pre built.

Is the OP still here?

don't start a flame-war with a respected member with a much higher post count unless you want to get egang-banged.

Note to self: Don't mess with peter.

4870 outperforms GTX 260. So if for the price you can grab a 4870X2 instead. That means that its an awful deal lol. As far as the PSU, everyone is probably right. It could be some crappy PSU that will decrease in efficiency sooner then you can say "Peter egang-bangs lower thread counted members."

Most OEMs go to the lowest bidder on everything they can. Most of the time this means ram, psu, mobo, drives etc. Things that most people look for like the cpu model and the video card tend to be quality but the less obvious stuff is more often than not cut rate.
