Default Second Hard drive on Vista

When I built my computer I had two hard drive a 10,000rpm one that is like 70gb or something and a 7,500rpm 640gb. The idea was to use the small fast one for the OS and put all my games and stuff on the other. I ended up just using the small hard drive for the last 5 months but its almost full so I finally installed the big HD.

The problem I ran into is that Vista wants all my stuff on the C drive(fast HD) and when I tried to put something on the E drive it gave me some error message. I am not even sure that the HD's can be used this way, or if there is truly an advantage. But any tips or help you guys can offer would be great. Thank you!

Yes, hard drives can be used that way

What error message do you get?
Nothing is more permanent than a temporary fix that works.
