Hello everyone! This is going to be my second build and I think I need a little help and a few suggestions since its been a while since I have done my own build. I do plan on playing with overclocking it although I never have so far. I was looking to spend between 1500-2000. I mostly do gaming, photo editing and some video editing so I figured I might as well go with a quad core and overclocking for the editing stuff I do. Im also never just doing one thing at a time anyway so a quad core might be best at this time and for longevity of the build. Im really having a hard time picking a motherboard so if someone can help me with that it would be most appreciated. Right now im probably going to stick to one video card if that makes a difference. Also if there are better components than the ones I picked out I will take any suggestions. Thank you!

Hey,

I think that looks like a GREAT start of options for your build. I think some of the forum experts can help you out finalizing it!

And, I hate for this to seem a bit spammish, but I could hook you up with your stuff, you could be my first primary customer! :)

switch the hdd to a seagate 7200.11 500gb (32mb cache)
switch the ram to crucial tracers or g.skill (cl4-4-4-12)
if your going to just be doing some small ocing and nothing MAJOR then get a q6600. Out of that list of mobo's get the p5b.
change the heatsink to a rifle.

965 chipset has had its time. Get the 750i or any of the P35 boards. I prefer the Abit because it can hit high FSB. Any p35 board will suffice. You could get the gigabyte p35 ds3l instead and save some coin. It'll hit 475 FSB no problems

Are you going to look at Inferno's stuff?

Inferno Deals

He has his own business and i am sure he would be able to give you some good prices.

Also you should get a different case, but if you like that one it's personal opinion.
