Default Seagate make a worthy HDD?

I'm upgrading a ton of my computer parts and figured i'd get a new hard drive while i was at it. I came across this Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

a 320gb OEM seagate for $80. I'm wondering if this would be a good idea or not and maybe i'd be looking at a fried hard drive in the next few months or having to deal with some errors

I don't know about the best... but Seagate is a very respectable brand. I wouldn't worry about pulling the trigger.

Yea, Seagate's great. I have a 160gig of theirs in my rig for one of my media drives. Very quiet, not alot of heat, very dependable.

I've always been a fan of WD though, they just happened to be what I used when I built my first rig and I just stuck with em.

Seagate is not always better........

Currently WD 750GB is much faster than the current Seagate 750GB (7200.10)
