interesting. i did not specifically know that.
so 8 clock cycles at 800 mhz would be the same speed as 4 clock cycles at 400mhz?
so would a casL of 4 @ 400mhz be a little faster than a casL of 5 @ 500mhz?
there was another thread that a user was asking "which is better, etc"....
i told him that really when i run my ram at 3-3-3-9 370mhz its about the same as running it at 5-5-5-15 450-500mhz.

I think it was for 600MHz/5-5-5-12 I was asking, because my RAM went there easily.

no, they'd be the same wait in seconds (or more specifically, really small fractions of a second)

the amount of time wait with a cas latency of 4, at 400MHZ, is:
4/400,000,000

the amount of time wait with a cas latency of 5 at 500MHZ is:
5/500,000,000

5/500,000,000 = 4/400,000,000 = 1/100,000,000
=0.00000001 seconds
