hi guys! thanks for all your help and opinions, i can always count on this forum, thats why i love it!

in the end i went for a seagate barracuda sata 16mb cache 250gb. i chose seagate because of its price and the 5 year warranty as someone mentioned.

I'm running 2 seagates in RAID 0 and they are doing an excellent job. Very quiet.

I have 3 Seagates, and one WD. The WD makes more noise than all three Seagates.
