Default SCSI drives in RAID 0

Has anyone built a setup like this?

You can get SCSI HD's for 39.99/drive:
Newegg.com - Recertified: Fujitsu MAS336RNC 36GB 15,000 RPM SCSI Ultra320 80pin Hard Drive

SCSI Raid controllers can be picked up on ebay for cheap - companies auction off workstation computers and people part out stuff on ebay.

It'd be cheaper than an equivalent 74gb WD raptor...

Would it be faster?

I have one in my workstation computer at work. Program loading times are insanely fast.

They generally have better reliability than standard drives. The price and the difficulty setting up are probably why they never caught on.
