I'm almost finnished my build and I want to put in a WD 74 Gig SATA Raptor. For the other HD I'm looking for something in the 16mb cache / 300 gig range, but am I going to have compatibility issues running a SATAII-150 or SATAII-300 with the raptor ?

No, the only thing to consider is that not all mobos support SATA-II, but SATA-II is backwards compatible. To rephrase, if you get a SATA-II HD, and your mobo doesnt support SATA-II, then it will run at regular SATA speeds.

Also, you wont notice a difference in performance between SATA and SATA-II, so dont go spending extra money on SATA-II drives.

And, finally the answer is no. You wont have compatibility problems if you have different drives like that.
