Default SATA RAID Advice

Quick question, I've got two 7,200 RPM SATA Drives and yesterday I decided to run my Windows install off of those instead of a standard 7200 RPM PATA drive. I set them up in RAID 0 and everything and it works great but I'm not sure if this is really worth the doubled risk of data loss. I am planning on putting most of my videos, music and documents on a PATA RAID 1 array for a little more security. So bottom line, is the performance worth it or should I mirror them or should I just screw the RAID altogether and use it for storage and not running the OS?

Thanks

Danny

Its worth it so long as you have back ups.
Like you should even if you don't RAID.

I'm sorry they are 10K not 7.2K
So that just further verifies your point, thanks.

That's correct, geesh, that's no good when people know more about your rig than you do Thanks
