I bought a dvd drive at compusa this weekend and its a sata interface and my computer does'nt have a sata port on the motherboard. They wont let me exchange it because they are going out of business and all sales are final. Its a custom built computer and the motherboard is a biostar. Can I buy a Pci card that will allow me to use that dvd drive? If so, what kind should I get? Are the generic ones sold on ebay for like 6$ any good?
Thanks

the reason I ask is because someone told me some cards don't work with optical drives. Is a DVD burner an optical drive?
