Default SATA III for SATA?

alright so i just bought a SSD off tigerdirect on an impulse and didnt bother to check for compatability.

question:
is my motherboard
ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS M5A88-V EVO

compatiable with this SSD
Corsair CSSD-F120GB3A-BK Force Series 3 Solid State Drive - 120GB, SATA III (6Gb/s), 2.5, up to 550MB/s Read, up to 510MB/s Write at TigerDirect.com

are the connectors the same? and will it perform like it should or how do i go about it?

Will work just fine, plug in to one of the white ports, no extra cables needed. Just use a regular SATA cable.
