You said it wasn't showing up, so you have to format, in order for it to be recognized.
I've read that when you do a full format, the it's not the format that takes long, but it also checks the disks too. So that takes up most of the time.
What does it mean to Mark a drive as active? ( I did this to the seagate ) So now the raptor reads as Healthy (system) and the seagtea as Healthy (active).
