Default Sata 2

Are SATA 2 drives backward compatable. Will they be OK in a standard SATA setup.

They will run at half speed I believe but they will work none the less.

they will work perfectly fine though in some instances a jumper setting is required to physically limit them to SATA150 speeds. as far as i know you WILL NOT see any noticeable difference with it running on a SATA150 interface.
