Default Sapphire Dual X1950 PRO...

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100202SR Dual X1950PRO 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 VIVO HDCP Video Card - Retail

So it's basically Crossfire on a single card? pointless....Anyway, I'd rather get an X2900XT or an 8800GTS.

Well if it was more around $350-400 it would be a killer sellpoint really. At 450 bucks it is a slower than the 8800GTS 640 model.

We'll see if it doesn't go down and it might just not be a bad card.

Thats a horrible video card for the price

You can get 8800GTS for only $329.99 after rebate, and it will completely destroy this video card
Newegg.com - EVGA 640-P2-N821-AR GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail

Even 8800GTS 320MB which cost only $259.99 is much better deal

IMO it seems rather worthless to release such an overkill (and overpriced) DX9 card at this point in time when most enthusiasts are looking at the DX10 future.

i just find it bizarre that it's been done with a GPU that is not high end. there have been several multi-gpu offerings in the past but they all used the then top-of-the-line GPU.

yep though this guy will perform better, 7950 better for your money.

As for performance:
Fudzilla - Sapphire Dual X1950Pro

but i'd rather have a future proof/cheaper 8800GTS any day. The good thing about these already SLIed or Crossfired cards is that you don't need to get a better power supply or have to pay the extra 120watts of power.

waste especially for a dx9 card. 8800gts much better for ur money and supports dx10.

Remember however...we don't have a DX10 program out yet.....and not sure we even know exactly when we will see it.

By the time it comes out , there will be alot more DX10 cards to chose from.
