Ok so i guess scratch the sound card.

the 965P chipset is better for the lower c2d you say, but what if i upgrade to one of e6320 or e6420 or possably e6600.

That G.Skill ram i found didnt look very high quality, maybe u can link what your talking about for me?

You won't need to upgrade your processor, as it would be a waste of money. The others that you listed aren't a significant upgrade from the e6300. Also the ram I suggested were:

Also, the more i read about SLi the less i want to do it. I could reduce my costs by going without a SLi Mobo and PS... thoughts?

That's a non-SLI board. SLI isn't really worth it, unless you play at extremely high resolutions.
