Default Rosewill Powersupply?

In the psu guide Rosewill is listed as being only for cheapskate builds. But I've heard their quality has gone up. Has it?

I'm wondering because I was looking at this PSU
Newegg.com - Rosewill RX850-D-B ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91 850W Power Supply 100 - 240 V TUV, FCC, UL, CE, ROHS - Retail
It has way more power than I would need but looks like a good deal if the quality is good.

Also anyone had experience with Rosewill rebates?

The corsair you listed is actually double the price after rebate. Rosewill isn't that bad. for $50 AR you can't go wrong.

850w is wayyyyy more than I need but I do need a new psu since mine only has about 30 amps and I would like to do some upgrades later on. I was considering this one because of the rebate. If I was actually going to spend over $100 than I would go with the 520hx but I want to spend around $50.

So if this is a good psu and Rosewill has a good rebate reputation then I will get it. Otherwise I'll probably grab a Hiper or FSP in the $50 range.

Don't knock a different type of product because you had bad experiences with different products of the same brand.

Generally speaking, rosewill power supplies are fine for cheap or on budget builds.
