Room temperatures Huge factor?

Okay so I know room temperatures play a factor in your computer temps, but I didn't think this much of a factor. With my tuniq tower 120 with MX-1 paste I got disapointing temps of 43-34 when idle for my q6600 and 50-40 at load. That was in the summer...today I woke up and its freezing outside as well as in my room and I checked my temps and it was 33-23 idle!!! 10 celcius difference? whoa.....room temps do matter! now I got the same temps as that one pdawg guy

Of course it's a huge factor. That's the air your computer is taking in, so it should directly affect it.

my pc is idling at 40 with tuniq and ,mx-2 and its aabout 85 degrees here

The room my computers are in are is always no colder then 74. Because of the 4 computers heat output..

I usually leave the windows open, although it is 40 degrees F outside.

well my rooms in the basement and i live in MN, where temps get really low in winter, so i cant wait for that!!!

the natural ground temperature will keep it close to the same...
