Many other websites came out with similar reviews today. It looks like the others I have seen.

y not? Because their british? O_o

their the same as other reviewers that talk n review about tech n games, so y not trust it? U think HD 2900 XT really had a chance against 8800 GTX in all those tests?

All reviewers have showed that 8800GTX can completely destroy X2900XT, and even 8800GTS can beat X2900XT in some cases

quoted from another thread so i wouldnt have to retype it out again:

well u got to remember, the current driver out right now is what they r using for the HD 2900 XT, which may cut back on it's real full potential, just wait for better drivers to come out, then the real benchmarks can begin, it's only a sample.

HD2900XT is $410 on newegg
Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100201SR Radeon HD 2900 XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 VIVO Video Card - Retail

But I think it would be better to save money and get 8800GTS 320, which is $200 cheaper and provides comparable performance

Here are some other benchmarks for HD2900XT compared to 8800GTX

i think everyone is tryin to aviod the fact that a 6 month old card killed a newly released one. even with better drivers it still couldnt make the difference the 8800 has on the ati

More benchmarks

HD2900XT vs 8800GTS vs 8800GT

Just look at the average FPS

So, 2900XT can't even beat its 6 month old rival 8800GTS
