looking to build a $2000 gaming computer to replace my 4 year old computer. looking for a build that will last a few years. maybe dual screen some 22" if it fits the budget.

that is pretty much the mainstream choices for the best price. You can get dual monitors if you want, if you are goign to use 22" dual youll def want to go with a 4870x2. crossfire 4870 would prob scale better from dual monitors tho.. in which case you would need a crossfire mobo so a dfi lanparty T2RS x48 mobo will serve you well. but for know, i just rec a single monitor with a 4870 or even dual monitors but just use one for gaming, dual gaming sucks anyway...
